About Eclipse

Eclipse stainless specializes in the design and manufacture of stainless steel sink and their accessories, as well as faucets and ceramic lavatory bowls.

At Eclipse we constantly strive to be a cutting edge company and offer only the highest quality products available, at incredibly competitive price points. Take a quick look at what we do in our core product categories and you can see what we mean.

Stainless Steel Sinks

Every single sink we make is hand checked by our staff of quality control personnel. They are in charge of being sure every Eclipse sink is perfect before it leaves the factory. Besides checking for the obvious cosmetic flaws, we are looking to close off any problems the fabricator may have. We check each sink for Computer Numerically Controlled (Known as CNC) accuracy. These CNC machines do the cutouts on your counters at a much faster rate than could possibly be achieved manually. Any variation between what a supplier gives for tolerance (sizing and radius), and the actual sink itself, leads to a sink that will not fit properly under the cutout. This is just one more extra step we take, to sell the best product we possibly can.

Eclipse Stainless manufactures not just the “old standard gauge” sink, which is 18 gauge, but also a complete line in 16 gauge. (The smaller the number, the thicker the steel.) These extra thick sinks do a great job of resisting dents, and quieting water flow. With the combination of one of the thickest sinks available on the market, the Eclipse price point, and our lifetime warranty, you have the finest value available today for your kitchen.

Ceramic Bowls

Since we build all of our stainless steel sink molds from scratch, you know our ceramic lavatory bowl would be no different. As we stress, at the core of the Eclipse philosophy for anything, you will find our commitment to quality and innovation. Our mainstay of the ceramic line is our #193 Monterey and it holds up to this credo.

We interviewed about 50 granite fabricators when designing the #193. Almost all agreed the most commonly used bowls available were all flawed (such as the Kohler ® model 2210). Although a great product, from an excellent company the 2210 is too big front to back, at 16 1/4". This 16 1/4" depth does not allow enough room for faucet holes to be easily drilled, and the faucet to be set. Especially in a granite application. So we designed a new bowl that is a fraction more than half an inch narrower front to back. This allows for a much easier installation, with almost no impact on usable bowl area. We then produce our ceramic bowl with only the finest clay, and lot's of it, so we add to the weight of the bowl giving it durability and strength. Then we finish off the bowl with the top lacquer available, to give a rich, smooth, long lasting finish.

Our 183 model is our smaller version, same great quality, for a smaller counter space application.

Faucets

When we decided to get into the faucet business we had no desire to be a “me too” company. The competitive faucet business required a fresh approach, with a reliable quality product.

We went out searching for a partner in business. We wanted a joint venture with a strong company skilled at faucet manufacturing, with a strong infrastructure. We wanted to seamlessly have these faucets match the appearance of our sinks. We are thrilled to be able to announce that after 5 years of searching, we signed that joint venture agreement this year with the Sento Hardware and machine factory. We were thrilled when we saw the new faucets available to us. They were cast out of pure molten stainless steel! We all have experienced the faucets that have chrome plating over brass, as well as other different colors of plating. These finishes wear away over time with cleaning and everyday usage. That leaves you with a very ugly tap that screams, “I'm old,” replace me every time you look at it! With our pure stainless steel faucet bodies, this will never happen. There is no finish to wear off or abrade. The look you see when you open the box, is the look that you will have for years to come.

Ever buy one of those real expensive “pull out sprayer” faucets and watch that hand held sprayer get more and more discolored over time? That's because it is made from plastic, covered by sheet metal. Every time you touch it with salad dressing on your hands, or lemon juice, the acids react with the sheet metal to dull the finish. Then the sprayer needs to be replaced. That won't ever happen with your Eclipse faucet. That solid cast sprayer will always hold onto its original luster.

We think our faucets are the best choice available for great quality, and elegant styling. You can look with confidence to the ceramic disc cartridge design to provide you with years and years of dependable service.

Of course there are parts that can wear out over time with your faucet. Don't worry, we are here to help with any part you may require. Look for them on our website, or feel free to call us direct.

Be sure to see our website for information on how to make your faucet shine like new if affected by mineral spots or scratches.
